We have a clear and consistent behaviour system which supports every member of the school community to feel valued and respected and underpins a safe and secure environment where effective learning can take place and children can thrive.

The health, safety and welfare of all our children are of paramount importance to all the adults who work in our school. Our children have the right to protection, regardless of age, gender, race, culture or disability. They have a right to be safe in our school.

Hargrave Park Primary School is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all of our children.

Hargrave Park School is at the heart of our community in Archway. We provide a secure and stimulating learning environment for our children, to enable them to succeed.

The internet offers children access to infinite information, communication and opportunities for creativity. The internet can be a positive place for children; however they need adult supervision and support to be able to make the right choices to protect themselves online and stay safe.

We believe that educational visits are an integral part of the entitlement of every pupil to an effective and balanced curriculum.

All education during school hours is free from compulsory charges. Hargrave Park Primary School aims to provide a wide and varied education for all children and believes that the arrangement of off‐site visits and activities along with visitors to the school makes an important and valuable contribution to every child’s development.

This remote teaching and learning policy will be in effect in the case of children self-isolating, bubble closure or school closure. The policy outlines communication channels and expectations for remote learning.
